The Season Opener is scheduled to be launched on Saturday, April 2, 2016. We at Catskillfishing cordially invite you all to be our guests and boost the energy as we kick-start the 2016 Fishing Season by gearing up for the First Cast of the season.

We invite you with love to join the other CFFCM members at sharp 9 A.M. at the DEC pull off just upstream of the museum bridge. We are all set to unite in fellowship to Celebrate Members and launch the most-awaited 35th Fishing season. Afterward, we request you to join us across the bridge and continue the festivities with full zeal.

We have arranged warming refreshments care sponsored by Agnes Van Put and the Center staff. Your day is going to be fulfilling with plenty of exciting events and amazing activities throughout the day. So, don’t miss this great chance, be on the grounds and take part in all the events especially planned for your enjoyment all day long.

Just after this, each one of us will return to the Gift Shop for some tasty and hot Agnes Van Put’s famous soups. Just above the Wulff Gallery, the Catskill Fly Tyers Guide will be holding the 15th annual Fly Tyers Rendezvous.

All these activities are open to the public. The Guild features a variety of more than 40 fine tyers, demonstrating distinctive styles, techniques, skills, and patterns. Below the Heritage Workshop between 10:30 am and 2:00 pm, we have organized some cool and happening activities for kids. Kids will be able to enjoy and play in the bamboo rod demonstrations.

Furthermore, there will be some unique tours of the Center. Also, Ed Van Put will be present in the Museum to meet his fans and sign his latest book edition, The Beaverkill.

We welcome all of you to come and gather at this grand season opener Saturday, April 2, 2016 and help us make this Fishing Season a success.
